Summary, etc. A tour manager is often faced with challenges to deal with guests from different cultural backgrounds. He may try his best to serve them. However, he may not be understood or perceived differently. Since guest would be from a variety of backgrounds, it will not be possible for him to learn about any particular cultural background. Even if he claims to understand a cultural context, still, people from this background are likely to behave differently. In this chapter, we have discussed the four essential constructs of culture that are relevant to a tour manager.
